Searching Robinsons in Orange County, Vermont

I was looking through the deceased listing on findagrave.com, complaining to myself about their new face now that they've sold their website to ancestry.com I think, and looking at a John A. Robinson born in 1826 for a forgotten reason, and found his death certificate on ancestry.  It was quite a good one, telling that his father was David Robinson.  I found one in my program  b: 1797.  He had moved to West Fairlee!  Now I have 50 million David Robinsons collected in my Family Tree Maker software program.  John was buried in West Fairlee, Orange, Vermontl. This David had to have been John's father.  I added him to the family.  The only problem is that Preston, already on the census, was listed having been born on the same date.  How could that be?  John A had to be a part of this West Fairlee family.  A twin?  Hmm.  Another David in West Fairlee?  The few records I did find all said that David was born in Massachusetts and the one I chose was.  That's why he fits the puzzle.

Here's another tree in my Family Tree Maker. This David already has a son John listed. West Fairlee?
Hadn't found that among his history a few years ago.  I'll have to try to get more information.

Did our ggrandfather, Abiathar Smith Robinson know of this family?
Did he live with any of this family since he was not on the 1850 census in Royalton, Windsor, Vermont?
He was not on Tunbridge, Orange, Vermont census, either but married there in 1852. He wasn't on any 1850 census, missed by census takers everywhere.

Who was the John Robinson in Royalton living with Abiarhar's future wife, Julia Ann Tuller's family,  found on the 1850 census at age 51?  This fact makes me wonder about all John Robinsons in the area.  This one was then born in 1799 or thereabouts the way people reported ages.  Unless they spoke to the person in question, they were capable of getting an assortment of guessed answers.
One can see that West Fairlee is close to Tunbridge
where our ggrandparents married in 1852, making
Strafford and the surrounding towns all the more relevant.

John was born in 1826 and our Abiathar was born in 1829 in Vermont.  This is in Orange County, where Tunbridge is.  Our Abiathar Smith Robinson was married in Tunbridge, Vermont in 1852.  John's father was of the same age and living in the same area where Abiathar's father could have come from.   John A died from typhoid dysentery.

Generation No. 1

1.  JOHN A.8 ROBINSON  (DAVID7, ZADOCK6, DANIEL5, EBENEZER4, SAMUEL GEORGE3, GEORGE2, PHILIP1) was born September 11, 1826 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and died August 06, 1890 in West Fairlee, Orange, Vermont.  He married MARY D..  She was born 1832 in Vermont.

Notes for JOHN A. ROBINSON:
11/16/17 read the death certificate for John A Robinson who died in West Fairlee and was born 1827 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, a laborer.
His father was David Robinson.  I started hunting and found this father both in Mass and West Fairlee, Vermont!!! He has to be the father but did not have a John listed as a son on any of the other pieces of information I had found-trees from other people, probably, because of the age under 1850 census.

Ely had a copper mine, no wonder people moved there.
